model 10 scout stock ?

i have a Savage model 10 scout in .308 with removable magazine. I have looked for an aftermaket varmit stock and have had no luck. If you know something I don't please share with me and let me know where i can get one.

still no luck. i guess mine is the older model. mine has a button on the sside of the rifle to release the magazine. here is a pic

Why do you want a varmint stock?

The gun you have is quite desirable as it is.

No reason really. I couldn't ask for it to shoot any better, i guess i just like customizing my stuff. I have a BEC gold label 6-24X50 scope on it and just installed a pole cat bipod. I haven't got to do alot of varmit hunting before and i guess it is just what my buddies told me i needed.

If it were me, I would sell the gun you have, and buy a varmint gun. I know for a fact that the Scout Savage will sell for enough to buy a gun more suited to your needs.

Putting that type of scope on the Scout Rifle is a waste.
