So this is against the rules>>>>View attachment 65022

Technically no since it's on topic :D

S4f, this is not a personal attack towards you; I'm simply asking why we have so called "rules" but you are allowed to have an avatar, that is viewable by the public, that clearly and specifically disregards those very rules. It has nothing to do with "little people sexing it up" at all, it has to do with the rule that says one thing and you, a Mod, posting your midget porn avatar in what appears to be blatant disregard of those rules. So....whassup with this is what I'm asking...am I to just shrug my shoulders and move on because you are a Mod (and sponsor?) and can do as you wish? I mean; it's not my forum; I suppose whatever you and Okuma Steve have agreed on is okay. But; I'm simply asking for clarification here, in a thread started by an established member, with what appears to me to be a reasonable question. If Steve were to strike that particular rule, then I'd be okay with your avatar. If the rule is really a rule, then you are clearly wrong. Please clear this matter up if you would. Thanks.

The intent of the rule is to help keep threads on topic and keep them from devolving into just a bunch of sex and drug references. I never considered avatars at all when writing the "dildo and drugs" rule. As long as an avatar isn't offensive on it's own then I don't see a problem with it.

The rule isn't a ban on those topics, it just bans them if they have nothing to do with the topic being discussed at the time.

Without speaking for the OP, it seems his concern is not "if" but "when" a mod says something that could be seen as inciting discord that there is a double standard if not blatant hypocrisy.

With that I would add that if one critizes a mod they get a "Warning Point" or suspension.

The question to you Steve is how do you regulate or police your mods?
