Why not stick with Howa?

A Weathdrby Vanguard.

Anything new and lightweight, you are chancing an accuracy loss. IF your groups double in size; you are still less than 1 1/2".
More than adequate for 300 yard shots.

Find a rifle you like and go for it.

That’s a good point. My only complaint about the vanguard is that the barrel is 6” longer than I’m looking for and not threaded.
Personally, I would have a hard time getting rid of an accurate rifle and risk buying one with unknown accuracy.
That’s my concern. I feel like most factory rifles under the $1k mark are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.
I was referred to that site by CZ-USA in Kansas City.
Hmmm I’ll have to give it a second look then.
