Because of the sheer amount of Crazies in this day and age,,,
I don't pull over for anyone/anything after dark.

I have however done so in broad daylight,,,
But I am always armed and on high alert when I do.

I have on several occasions stopped a half mile down the road,,,
And called the Highway Patrol via 911.

It's just too risky to stop myself,,,
But if I drove away from someone asking for help,,,
And later found out someone died I can't imagine how I would feel.

Although I can't imagine how I would know.

I've been stranded many times in my life and nobody would stop,,,
Like I said, if I won't stop right then and there,,,
I will probably stop and make a call.

The reality is that virtually everyone nowadays has a cell phone,,,
That eases the desire to put my safety over their problem.

It sucks,,,
But that's reality in the 21st century.

I'll stop and help a single female with small children on a hot summer day if her car is broken down but I won't give a lone youngish male a ride or for that matter, an older male. Time have changed from what they used to be, people today are far meaner and have no scruples with hurting others. For those who don't mind giving others a ride somewhere, I'd recommend putting your sidearm in the door pocket left of you.

You must have made some really bad choices in your life if you can’t afford $30 $40 a year for a road service rider on your insurance. Hope things work out better for in the future.
Sometimes life gets in your way ! Glad yours is a perfect life and all you have to do is set in judgement of people you do not know!!

I can tell when people are judging me just by the way they look. :D
I judge you to be wrong. (In multiple definitions of the word)

More importantly, how the heck can one only spend 80 bucks a week on groceries like someone was saying earlier? Short of ramen, buying beans and rice in bulk. Pretty sure I spent more than that as a broke college kid.
