I guess the rumors of XD sights being as bad or worse than M&P sights are true.

S&W even has the audacity to claim they are "drift adjustable". Maybe if you have a special punch and a hydraulic press. I just fit a set of Dawsons to my new 2.0 and had to beat the hell out of the old ones to remove them. I had bought a brand new set of Starrett punches to do them but got by with the Harbor Freight chrome vanadium set, which were actually pretty dang tough.

XD factory sights are some of the tightest in the industry. Using the correct sight pusher, you SLOWLY add pressure and when you hear the "pop" you hope it's the sight breaking loose not a slide rail. The dirty rear sight in the pic is a Dawson. It was obviously a CCW at some point prior to the current owner bringing it to me. People underestimate where the dust and crud can accumulate.
