No more morels, but I found 11 more sheds for a grand total of 29 this trip. I’m pretty sure that’s the most I’ve ever found. 3 match sets.

We got morels in our yard last year for the first time in 30 years of living here. Watched a YouTube video that said to wash the shrooms and spread the spores in the wash water around dead wood, etc. I did that and spread the water in the same places the morels grew so it will be interesting to see if they come back.

I see that an increasing number of people are looking for mushrooms on WMAs apparently. Lexington has posted a sign to remind folks it's illegal to harvest mushrooms on WMAs. I didn't even think about the legality of it when looking for them while turkey hunting.
Interesting... it seems it varies on enforcement.
