Morning Excitement

I did a prescribed burn yesterday, and I started out this morning pushing up and piling tamaracks that didn’t burn. I had been working about 4 hours when the tractor started billowing black smoke from under the hood, so I grabbed my little dog and bailed out. We got about 50 yards away before something blew up.

I kind of figure I punctured a hydraulic line, but I really don’t know. Thankfully, it’s insured.
