I have sense learned that the side fold adaptor is not acceptable to the BATF. Reason being that the overall length must be measured with the stabilizing brace folded. Folded length is 23.25 inches. That's 2.75 inches short of the overall length requirement of 26 inches. So off it comes. Now this side folding adaptor could still be used on a pistol that uses a stabilizing brace with the exception of an AR pistol. An AK pistol that uses a buffer tube AR style arm brace does not have he overall length requirements that a Shockwave or a Remington Tac-14 does and so it would be legal. If anyone is interested in purchasing a side fold adaptor I would be willing to let this one go at a significantly reduced price.
