No real difference in turnaround time with either form.

Just wanted to be sure you know that a Form 1 is to MAKE a gun you already own into an SBR and a Form 4 is to TRANSFER an already existing SBR from another owner to you. It is not like you can use one form or the other to make an SBR.

Correct. The link below was for an already registered sbr.

I'm considering any option here. Seems buying a pistol with the barrel I want then buying the stock after approval is the easiest way for me to get what I want. Buying and already registered gun would leave me with no gun to play with while the ATF lets my application collect dust on a desk somewhere
