EB69313A-BD13-4A70-941B-BA3EAB592FE0.jpeg I was at my moms visiting last week and my dad got this old pistol out and showed it to me. I’ve never seen it before and had no idea he even had it. It was in great shape along with the holster. There was a German stamp on the inside of the holster. Anyway, I thought it was a really cool old pistol. 97AA77C8-4E8C-495A-ABDC-E05E2572AEE1.jpeg

Cool old Mouser pistol. Was it a battlefield pickup?

I’m not sure. He said someone gave it to him but he’s 91 and wasn’t real sure.

I have not seen one of those old Mausers in years. I always had a hard time telling the 1934 apart from the 1914. Both were interesting pistols.

Looks like the frame is cracked under the “u” in Mauser in the second pic. Or is it supposed to be like that?

I actually am not sure. I looked it over pretty good and don’t remember a crack in it but it does look that way in the picture.

Kind of a side plate if I remember correctly. Should be able to see one at the rear too.
