My wait was about 3 1/2 months. It sucked at the time, but really wasn't that bad looking back.

It depends quite a bit on who your examiner is, and what type of workload they have at the time. IIRC, there are only twelve or so examiners to cover all the applications. Makes for a long wait sometimes.

On my last paperwork, It took six months. I've had it done in as little as 2 and 1/2 months. I think the worst thing you can do is run home every day hoping to get an email from your dealer. Trust me, that will make the waiting that much worse. My first paperwork years ago took nearly a year. The anticipation was awful.

My advice? Forget about it, and then when the paperwork is approved you get a surprise. Its better that way.
