Ive been getting a larger number of telemarketing calls that than normal lately, decided to get some revenge. I get on the phone with one of their live technicians, tell them they'll need to speak with the owner/ father/ whatever, then just leave the phone near my computer speaker
"Will you please hold, the manager would like to speak with you.."

I simply turned the voice mail off. If I know who you are and actually want to speak with you I will call you back. I currently have my "voicemail" number set as the "It could always suck more 2 hotline." So they get to not only have their robocalls connected but their time wasted.

LOL, My wife just says I am a smart @$$.... The other one I enjoyed was responding to a spammer that I "inherited" money from or something of that nature. Told them I would no longer have internet and to call me to make arrangements. The number I gave them was 202 324 3000 which just happens to be the FBI headquarters.....
I always quiz them about camels and what it takes to get one broke to ride. It's something that truly interests me and why google when I can get the words straight from someone's mouth that has firsthand experience.

The calls from spoofed numbers mimicking the area code and prefix of my number were driving me insane - sometimes 6-8 per day. Finally discovered an iOS app that can block all 10,000 numbers of a given area code and 3 digit prefix! One time cost of $4.99, but well worth it to regain my sanity. It will not block incoming calls from prefixes the same as yours if the number is in your contacts.
