Way back when I was in high school,,,
A kid did a wood-burned rifle stock.

He used a series of oak leaves from a leather carving belt pattern.

Have you considered handgun grips?

That's a good idea though. It would look wicked on some 1911 or other grips. I may have to get an old set of grips cheap and try it. Thanks....

I'm almost done with my dad's father's day gift. This is the most Custom one I've done and most time consuming. Has taken about 8 hours so far and still need to add some wording to the banner and stain it tomorrow.
