Day before yesterday, she had a physical therapist come out, and after their session, he told me that he suspected a mini-stroke because she sudenly had problems with expressing herself. He told me to be on the alert just in case.
That night, as were waatching TV, she called out to me and was having an obvious problem. One side of her face was twitching and her right arm was jerking, and she couldn't talk. I called 9-1-1.and the EMS folks took her to Integris in Enid.
They didn't have the means of dealing with her so that night, she was taken to OU Medical Center in OKC. I saw her yesterday, and the people at OU are marvelous.
They say it is too early to give a definite prognosis but did say that her condition has slightly improved since her admission.
