N.C. trooper kills his brother and a motorist in crash at traffic stop

Sad all around.

Two brothers, both N.C. state troopers.
One had a motorist pulled over on the side of the road around 9 P.M. when his brother came to assist.
Second trooper arrived at the traffic stop and collided with his brother's patrol car. Both the first trooper and the motorist, standing on the side of the road were killed.
Ongoing investigation by SBI and highway patrol.
