Yeah, I can see them firing him for incompetence for missing a crack like that, but about the only way I could see him getting charged with anything is if they can prove that he wasn't actually inspecting it when he said he was (which I'm pretty sure could be considered malfeasance).For what? Nobody was hurt. I really want to hear that he was purposely negligent if he's charged which may very well be warranted in that case, but criminal charges seem to be thrown around too often and for certain classes not nearly often enough these days. Jeesh...
