Neck shot or head shot for piggies?

My experience is that hogs body shot with the smaller calibers and lighter bullets don't rollover.

Hey we're going to Deep Fork again next Sat, July 17th - if you can be at my buddy's house at 3 am sharp on that day in OKC, we'll have you back no later than noon if we don't get a pig, and no later than 1pm if we do get one or more.

180grSP or larger in 30-06 will pretty much take the fight out of a hog, unless you like a buddy of mine in Georgia who shot one in the a$$, and I had to go in to put it down. Trust me its not something you'll ever want to do twice!!!!

I shot one with a bow several years ago. I shot at a big sow at 30 yds, and hit a tiny limb that deflected the arrow into the butt of a small boar.
I couldn't get the broad head out so just unscrewed the shaft and had the processor cut out that section of spine. I keep it on my desk at work:D
