Need a Gunsmith for S&W Model 10 Barrel Install

Must use proper wrench to get barrel on and off without damage to the frame. Barrel install on a S&W revolver can get tricky if the replacement barrel doesn't time with the frame. May have to remove some metal from the new barrel to get proper barrel to cylinder fit. Some fitting of extractor rod may be required. Not necessarily a simple job.

This is correct. I have the ability to do this but unfortunately I don't have the tooling. If McCool's did it for $225 and did a good job, that is who I'd recommend.

Looks like they did a very good job, not an easy job as mentioned. I've been wanting to buy an older S&W revolver in a 4".

This was not the most economical way to get what I wanted, however it was fun. If I ever sell this I will probably loose some good $$
