You have bears and hogs down there and are 1000 miles away. Get one that bears won't tear up, tree rats won't chew up and raccoons won't rake corn out.

You like the ASF feeders. I recommend the level above ASF. It is similar design but 16 gauge sheet metal instead of galvanized and don't cost that much more.
HB Feeders.
They have 400, 700 and 1000# feeders that can be filled from the ground. If you buy corn in the bulk tote bag, you can back right up the feeder and bucket or scoop into it.

Those do look nice and heavy duty! Thanks for pointing out that option.

If you want to keep squirrels and coons from climbing the legs of your feeder, suspend pipe on the legs. It works great for squirrels and coons, but I seriously doubt it would deter bears at all.

That’s a cleaver and easy to implement idea; going to copy it if I get a feeder with legs. Best I can tell, bears are rare in my corner of McIntosh county.
