Need Skilled Dam Repair

I need recommendations for someone that can rebuild a pond dam. Dam has erosion and needs to be fixed before the entire dam goes.

Need someone that knows their stuff and won't demolish the dam. Pond is located north of Cushing

If no one recommends anyone, contact the local NRCS or conservation district office in your county. They should have a vendor list or should be able to give you a name or two.

Are they repairing a bridge in the area?

A badger had burrowed into my dam. Big rain, pond got full and washed out. Badger got shot.

They were replacing a bridge on the creek. Went down and asked about where they were dumping. Said they had about 45 mile round trip. Asked if he wanted a 1 mile round trip. Took him and showed what I had. They done a fantastic job, cost me $0.00.

I got about 30-40 tons of free mulch that way one time.... County was triming the trees along the roads. It's a 40-50 mile round trip to the dump and back. They were happy to shorten that trip.

I’m looking at some leases that are being auctioned by the Oklahoma Land Office. One property has a washed out pond dam. I called the real estate manager for my area and found out that the state uses local guys for pond maintenance and repairs. It looks like the real estate specialist for your area is Sean Ison 405-208-2067. You might give him a call and see who they use in your area.

After numerous delays and consistent lack of communication, the dam has been repaired. The repair looks good. The small portion of land cleared of cedar trees is unacceptable. I will not hire them for additional cedar clearing nor recommend them due to their inability to communicate.
