These whine bag teachers just need to shut up and do their jobs. They knew what they were gonna make when they signed their contract. If money is that important then they should have gotten a different degree. I am so sick of hearing them say “it’s for the children”. It doesn’t have one thing to do with the kids. If the teachers really did care they wouldn’t be walking out this long causing school to be in longer into the summer. As I have said before, they deserve a raise which they got. It just wasn’t enough for them. I would like to make more too but I took this job knowing what I was gonna make. So I have no excuse to gripe. Even though I get paid pretty good. Considering how little teachers actually have to work they should be very glad they make what they do.

They should look at the local Workforce offices.
10 or 12 employees salaries and benefits.
Office rent and utilities to keep them comfortable.
Supplies and wi-fi to keep them occupied.
Empty parking lots because nobody hires thru workforce anymore.
Temp services do all that.

Archaic system that needs changing.
But it keeps getting funded every year because it's embedded in the budget.
Workforce isn't the only state agencies has this same crap problem.
But it's an example of the whole sewer called state gubermint.
