New fawns.

Saw twin fawns today south of Ponca that were days old. Still wobbly in the legs. 201 days for gestation, so these were late fawns.
They were right on the side of the highway, so we turned around and put the fear of car into them. Drove right at them with the horn full on. lol, they wobbled off the road. Never did see momma.

Good for you. I saw a similar situation in Arcadia last week except mom was in the road with the fawn behind her. She taught the youngster to turn and run as I approached.

The twins are back.
We've had a pair of twins born the, last two years, that go to water just east of us every day.

I'm at my place this weekend and have seen A BUNCH of fawns but no twins yet. I'm getting a couple feeders and cameras back up and running, so I should know more in a few days.

Had a doe in my yard yesterday that was still pregnant.

I have a pair of fawns and a single this year. I have watched them nurse then head to the feed trough.

Several fawns running around my acreage.
I stepped out onto back patio at 22:30 and spooked 2 fawns, 1 ran for the trees the other circled behind me crashing into the door.

Also 2 small bucks in velvet hanging around. They seen to like the cheap white bread from the Dollar General
