Has anyone seen, or even better, used the new Federal AE223M variant ammo?
I noticed it for sale (not "on sale" but it may be an introductory price) in Walmart yesterday for $6.44/20 right next to their usual Federal AE223K selling for $7.44/20 so I bought a few boxes.
The packaging says "Military grade" and has a sort of camo color scheme.

I can't find anything out about it from the Federal website.

I may have to do some experiential learning with it this weekend (hopefully).

Edit - add - it is 55gr., and has the exact same ballistic data on the package as the more familiar AE223K

I believe the only difference is the AE223M has milspec crimped primers.

I received the following today from an employee with initials "MS" after sending an e-mail request for information (RFI) to Federal Premium Ammunition Co:

    "John:

They are the same military grade ammo, AE223M is a Wal-Mart promotional load.

    Thanks
    Federal
    MS"

So, I guess the Bottom Line is at $1.00 cheaper/20 for the same ammo, buy the AE223M.
