I recently acquired a 2.5" Smith & Wesson model 66-1 police trade-in. The red front site insert was shrunken and loose.
Two part epoxy + Testor paint = new green insert. I haven't gotten it to the range yet, but the green is much easier to pick up than red when sighting down the barrel.
