I have multiple pistols and revolvers: Glock 43, Ruger LCP, Taurus 809, two S&W Airweights (one with external hammer) and a cheap Rough Rider .22LR. I used to have Glock 22 in .40 caliber. I didn't like it. I sold it.

The Taurus 809 is my favorite pistol! I never had a misfire, no failures to eject, nothing. Zero problems. I have over 5000 rounds through it. I clean it regularly and shoot cheap ammo. The "i-walk-on-water-Glock" jammed on me twice within the first 200 rounds.

Maybe, there are bad Tauruses out there, but I love mine and it really pisses me off when people generalize and say that they are all pieces of $#it.

I worked at a pawnshop in AZ and this pistol was returned with complaints more often then any other . Yes we did sell new guns more often then new i would rate Taurus semi autos a step above a high point which I consider a boat anchor
