Speaking of dogs has anybody heard that North Dakota is so flat that you can see your hunting dog for 2 weeks when he runs off

Well, I've had her home for almost a week now. It's been 13 years since I've had a lab pup running around the house and I forgot how much work they are. It's worth every minute though!

She got her first taste of blood and feathers on Tuesday when I got back from my opening day hunt. She's definitely got the drive and should make a hell of a retriever.

I haven't taken my black lab dove hunting the last couple of days because it was 99* and we weren't hunting near water.......man did I miss having him to do all the work!
