I was told to come and introduce myself. I am a 70 year old 100% disabled Vietnam veteran born and raised in Fresno, in the San Joaquin Valley of California. I started my own glass and window repair shop in 1996 at age 45 and sold it and retired in 2015. I was a Democrat for 48 years and voted for Trump in 2016. I went to high school with congressman Jim Costa. I got tired of Gavin Newsom destroying the state and bought 5 1/2 acres and moved to an area in the woods just outside of Troy, Montana where I will be building a home. I am staying at my son's home in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho and go to Montana to clear the trees and level the land when possible. I bought a 26 Ft. travel trailer that I leave on the property. I drive a 2011 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior 4 x 4. Since we have a lot of Black and Grizzly bears there, I purchased a Glock 20 gen 4 10 mm and a Palmetto State Armory AR10 308 Winchester. I have been stock piling ammo for both as well as food and water for when the SHTF. I think that the economy and the housing market are going to crash just like in 2008 and I want to be prepared for it. I only buy when things go on sale and I buy one package of toilet paper every time I go to Costco whether I need it or not. I bought four cases of green beans and four cases corn when it was on sale for $.50 per can. I also bought a case of Chef Boy R Dee ravioli for $.88 per can and Progresso soup for $.99 per can. I only buy what I normally like to eat. My wife and I have two small dogs.
