What part of the People Republic were you living?
I spent 23 years total at and around Edwards AFB, in the Mojave Desert.

I was right in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. It was great as far as convenience to everything you wanted but horrible as far as being a gun owner. Also crime just got worse and worse and the homeless situation was a nightmare. Pre Breun we couldn’t get a CCW unless we were a member of the elite. It was probably better where you were.
