I saw Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) at Michael’s Kitchen in Taos one time. I think I’m the only person that recognized him as he was paying out. The cashier asked him how it was and he said “as good as it was 20 years ago” and his voice clicked in my head. I was like “holy crap that was Mike from breaking bad”.

I just let him be though. I wouldn’t want to be bothered if I was famous.

I’ve ridden a bike all thru NM and it has some great scenery. Not as fun as CO but very nice. Almost met a bull elk up close and personal early one morning.

That's yet another reason to live in the panhandle. You're like 4 hours to red river?

4-1/2 hours pretty much. I day tripped to Red River and did the Enchanted Circle and back to Guymon in one day during the Red River Memorial Day Rally. I don’t remember how many miles it was total by the time I got back home but I go the Raton way and not the Springer way when on a bike in case I have troubles I at least have a chance of waving somebody down. Springer route you may not see anybody.
