New OK County CCW Letter Recipients - Call Before Picking it Up

My girlfriend got her letter this weekend, went down this afternoon to pick up her license, and it wasn't there!

Seems 183 letters went out recently in Oklahoma County - but they forgot to transfer the licenses! Over 40 people today alone showed up and were turned away.

My girlfriend got her letter this weekend, went down this afternoon to pick up her license, and it wasn't there!

I went to the Oklahoma County Sheriff last week to turn in my SDA application. The fingerprint tech advised me to wait 5-7 days after I get my letter before I come down to pick up the license. Perhaps recent demand is taxing resources a bit.

UPDATE:

Girlfriend called and hers was in, and is now in her hands. Not such a long delay for her.

My wife and I got our letters. I was told that it would be best to call to make sure it was in. When I called, it wasn't there. The nice lady explained that both the cards and the letters are mailed out at the same time. So, in theory, it could take longer for them to get it.
