The new long barrel rimfire is available with the threaded barrel. It would be nice to see more models with that option. Lever guns make nice hosts since you have fast follow up shots without the action sound of semi-auto.

20 or 16.5 carbine

20 could not find a 16 anywhere. Missed the boat when Marlin put them out years ago . The 20 may help my old eyes not a fan of a scope on a lever gun ( except my BLR) Ill put a peep on it and see how it does
