So a friend of mine just bought a brand new Ruger American 9mm pistol. He tested one out once & really liked it. So we went behind the house to take a few shots, & he didn't even get one magazine thru it & no more worky! Started out by checking things out, making sure it was going all the way into battery. Had to go deeper, Turns out the firing pin broke. What to do? I told him that sucks, especially with so few rounds thru it, & should have bought a Smith & Wesson M&P. I then said to contact Ruger & tell them & they will fix it for free. Any here had any experience with an issue like this in such a short time?
