New to Me Toy

I was on TX hunting message board last week and saw this 2001 Honda 450s for sale and decided to make the guy an offer, and surprisingly, he took it. I’m now the third owner of this machine. The other two were hobby farmers that used it to check cows and ride around their pastures which is what I’m going to do with it. The LED screen is out which is a common problem, so I have no idea of the hours or miles. However, it still has 3 of the original tires with decent tread on them for being 21 years old.
I absolutely didn’t need it, but I think I’m going to really enjoy having a 4 wheeler again. I’ve already been riding it around my pasture this morning.

My dad has that same one, same year, in dark green. I think his is the 650 though. Nice machine.

Nice machine! I had one for quite a few years and never had a problem with it. I upgraded a couple of years ago to a bigger Yamaha with independent rear suspension, but I’m sure that the Honda is still running around somewhere.

Heck ya man! That brings me back to trail riding with buddies back when I was a teenager. Those old Honda foremans were reliable as a Stanley hammer

I currently have a pair of 03/04 ES models like that one...they're not fast but they're reliable and rugged! Green one is full time 4x4 and I have a red one that's selectable 2wd/4wd.

Nice ride! Bring it to Oklahoma next time you at the property and we will go over to Little Sahara. You're not far away and it's a blast of a place to ride.
