I can't imagine the picture getting much better. Another thing to consider with "4K" is that almost nothing broadcasts in it. Nothing that I know of on dish or direct and only some things on Netflix. So your basically paying extra for something you can't even use. I wouldn't get anything else besides Samsung. And yes I own other brands. I'm taking about my main big tv. It will always be a Samsung. One more thing I forgot to mention. Most tv shows don't even broadcast in 1080p. It is either 1080i or 720p. Some video on demand stuff is specified as 1080p. Even with it not being in the top hd wise the tv shows still look amazing. Good luck. Sams currently has a very good deal on some tv's. Not just Samsung. They have a hitachi 65" led for $638!! That is unreal. The curved 70" samsung is about $2,999 I believe. Or you could go with the 78" curved Samsung for just $3,999! That actually ain't that bad for a tv like that.
I have a 60" Samsung led 3D tv and couldn't be happier. I just haven't seen a tv that can compare to Samsung as far as picture quality. Speakers aren't the greatest but that is what my Bose system is for. I have avatar on bluray 3D and I am not kidding it is the absolute best thing I have ever seen on a tv. I was going to upgrade to a 65" uhd curved Samsung but haven't yet. My tv is plenty good.
