Newb question about YHM 9mm Wraith

I was told that this can is used for carbines/subguns in 9mm but not 9mm pistols.

My question is, why can it not be used on a 9mm pistol??

It takes a thing called a Neilson device/booster to make the action function on certain types of guns. A blow-back action like a mac10 or an ar9mm don't need the booster but a delayed blow-back like a 1911 or a Glock do.

The Cobra has an interchangeable butt for use with rifle or booster with pistols.

Vector is about as close to H&K that I'm gonna get. I can't see spending $2k plus on a semi auto rifle. My cheapness just won't justify that.

From all of the clones out there, Vector is probably the best, but they are high on my never again list with the experiences I've had with my V-53 SBR.

So I heard a rumor that the Beretta 92fs doesn't need a neilson device because the barrel doesn't tilt during firing. Is there any truth to this or is it just BS??

The 92 has a tilting locking block hung underneath the barrel The barrel itself goes straight back. If the can is light enough and the round hot enough, the 92 doesn't require a Nielsen device.
