I am working on upgrading my ruger 10/22. I have found a barrel that I like and it is threaded on the end. I was thinking about getting it so that down the road if I want a can I will have one. My question is this: Can I buy a threaded barrel legally even though at this point I do not have a can or am not at this time in the process of buying one?
As long as it's 16" then there's no reason you can't get it in Oklahoma.
