A friend was fishing Sooner for catfish yesterday. The first fish he caught was an 11.2 lb bass on a catfish pole baited with stinkbait and using 3 spark plugs for weight as he is too cheap to buy lead sinkers. He is such redneck, so to know him is to love him. You can not dislike this guy as he is the salt of the earth. Growing up, he had never slept on a bed. He slept on the floor or the couch until he married a friends daughter that saw the good in him. When we all met for a BBQ, he used to slip up to the table and put food in his pocket, retreating to a secluded area to eat it. We called him out on it and said he was the youngest of his family and the elders would take it from him. What a sad story, but this guy is a hard working fool. Great guy. It's at the taxidermist as we speak.
