[QUOTE="henschman, post: 2703577, member: 4235"] As promised, our 2015 Norman Appleseed marksmanship clinics at the Tri City Gun Club are now confirmed and open for registration. Enjoy a weekend on the firing line with some of the finest fellow Americans you will ever meet, guaranteed, and the best instruction in the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship you will find anywhere. The goal of Project Appleseed is to turn this country into a nation of Riflemen. A Rifleman should be able to control the "Rifleman's Quarter Mile" -- this means being able to get hits on a man-sized target out to 500 yards from field positions, with any rack grade rifle. An Appleseed marksmanship clinic will teach you all the skills necessary to shoot to this standard. If you are a new shooter, you will learn some solid fundamentals. If you have been shooting for a while but have never had any systematic instruction in the fundamentals, we will show you some techniques that will allow you to shoot better than you ever thought possible. If you are already a skilled Rifleman, you will benefit from the coaching of fellow experienced rifle shooters. You will also hear some Revolutionary War history about the origins of our heritage of marksmanship and liberty, which every American should know. Appleseeds cost only $60 for the weekend, with discounts for certain groups. Bring any safe rifle, and we will help you become a more effective shooter with it. Most shooting is done at 25m, so .22s will work fine. Center fire rifles are welcome and encouraged as well. Full distance shooting out to 200 yards is available on this range as well, and interested shooters will have the opportunity to apply their skills at full distance on Sunday afternoon. .22 rimfire ammo will be available for purchase at the event for non-inflated prices for those who need it in order to participate. Loaner .22 LR rifles are available as well -- contact me by PM or e-mail with inquiries about this, or with any of your other questions or concerns.
