I received my M&P Shield back last week after sending it back to S&W on April 13 for warranty repair. The Repair Order Completion document indicated they evaluated and repaired the Shield by replacing the slide stop. A call to service about the barrel and target concern indicated the barrel was evaluated and cleaned and that it was fine. It looked good when I got it back so whatever they did seemed to work. I have been able to put a total of 150 rounds of [URL='http://rover.ebay.com/rover/13/0/19/DealFrame/DealFrame.cmp?bm=603&BEFID=96424&acode=578&code=578&aon=&crawler_id=523588&dealId=lHkDQaBaOI0CyexcHqISsQ%3D%3D&searchID=&url=https%3A%2F%2Fads.midwayusa.com%2Fproduct%2F298637%2Fhks-revolver-speedloader-ruger-sp101-taurus-73-74-741-32-h-and-r-magnum-327-federal-magnum%3Fcm_mmc%3Dpf_ci_ebay-_-Shooting%2B-%2BRange%2BAccessories-_-HKS-_-298637%26sdc_id%3DeBay&DealName=HKS%20Revolver%20Speedloader%20Ruger%20SP101%2C%20Taurus%2073%2C%2074%2C%20741%2032%20H%26R%20Magnum%2C%20327%20Federal%20Magnum&MerchantID=523588&HasLink=yes&category=0&AR=-1&NG=1&GR=1&ND=1&PN=1&RR=-1&ST=&MN=msnFeed&FPT=SDCF&NDS=1&NMS=1&NDP=1&MRS=&PD=0&brnId=2455&lnkId=8070676&Issdt=170528050532&IsFtr=0&IsSmart=0&dlprc=9.99&SKU=298637']Federal 115 grain aluminum and FMJ through it Friday and today at the local outdoor gun range and it worked just fine. I also didn't experience any of the target showering I noticed before, so it may not have been gun related. Really good feeling gun that is easy to shoot well. Brought it home and field stripped and cleaned it up both times and it all came apart and went back together just like it should. I appreciate the free warranty work and hope this Shield is problem-free from this point on.
