So a new California-NTM law requiring that by 2035 all medium and heavy-duty trucks must be electric is being enacted to join the recently enacted California-NTM law that requires that all personal vehicles sold in that state to be electric, also by 2035. Gee golly, what could possibly go wrong?

Considering the failing electrical infrastructure that already cannot reliably supply EV charging as well as the mandated blackouts to prevent fires, keeping the grocery stores and industries supplied with product on a timely basis will become all but impossible.

The next step I foresee is that California-NTM will put a law into place that outright forbids non-electric trucks from crossing their border, requiring that goods be transferred (with a fee, of course) from non-electric to electric trucks to complete the delivery within the state.

Everyone needs to start preparing now for the influx of destitute immigrants soon to be fleeing that state for [our] 'greener pastures'

California reminds me of an experiment that took place in 1954, for the National Institute of Mental Health, and the Laboratory of Psychology, conducted by John C. Calhoun PHD! An enclosure was designed and built to be the perfect environment for rats. The correct number of healthy rats were placed into this enclosure, and all their needs were met! These rats flourished, and multiplied! Before long it was wall, to wall rats, and still, all their needs were met, except more room! These rats started turning homosexual, stopped reproducing, and when the last rat died of old age, this prefect environment for rats was EMPTY! Is this what is happening to California, and the rest of the HUMAN RACE? ALL Animals are hard wired to control over population. Grazing animals stop cycling, and reproducing, when they become malnurshed, due to drought conditions, with less pray animals, predator numbers are reduced as well. When grass, plants, are plentiful, their numbers increase, but so do preditor numbers, to limit over population. etc. humans have managed to overcome most of these natural controls of over population, right? Makes me wonder if their are other controls in place to control human over population, that we are not yet aware of?

I apologize for not being clear. You had indicated that it is legalized dope that was keeping them happy, and I was comparing that to our current proposal to legalize MJ here in Okla. Hopefully we will not follow the CA track. Again, I apologize for appearing to twist your comment.

I do not think someone strung out of dope could possibly be happy. I think that individual is simply hiding from reality for any litany of possibilities. To me this is simply a different form of control.

I was just discussing this exact thing with a fellow professional today. Most of the people pushing CT fancy themselves to be a vital component of that machine. Like they're an associate of Marx, Lenin, or even one of Stalin's less insane acolytes.

In fact they're more like one of the not yet incarcerated inmates of the Gulag Archipelago, who profess their innocence but accept their demise as vital to the success of the movement. We don't yet know who will emerge as the leader of this Nouveau Revolution should it succeed, but the screams will sound the same when they finish what they started. Just ask Leo Trotsky. Oh...
