They keep trying to get me to upgrade to the patriot endowment level or some such. And for pretty darn cheap too. Maybe if they stopped wasting so much paper mailing us crap they wouldn't need us to upgrade.
Making the membership work out depreciation wise isn't the entire deal. A lot of the deal is getting something from the NRA for your donation. There are more benefits with each level of membership. I also used the optout so I don't get junk mail. It does work. I know a number of folks on this forum detest the NRA but they do, in general, have you best interest in mind gun ownership wise. With Trump as President that's not a big issue right now but who knows about the future?
