    They sleep like that alot in the back of live traps.............usually leads to permanent sleep.

    No, not planning on petting him. The last of the outdoor kitties has been sent to the rescue to find homes so without a nightly snack bar of cat food to munch I suspect he'll move on. I didn't expect to see him chillin' in a deck chair that night lol, it was pretty cute.

    I wonder if he is somebody's pet coon. Try and see if he is friendly.

    Good plan, feel free to give it a try. Maybe toss him on your head and see if he acts like a hat while you're at it.
