I had a co-worker that was using it. They misread his meter then proceeded to automatically withdraw almost $2,000 out of his checking account while he was out of state on vacation. He didn't discover it until the weekend when he was trying to check out of his hotel and his debit card was declined.
I learned from his misfortune and don't allow any automatic withdrawals that can vary in their amount.
I get an email at least 2 weeks before they actually withdraw the money. I've never has an issue with OG&E, and I've had two accounts on auto-pay for, I'm guessing, 20 years. But, you have to check the email or otherwise what happened to your co-worker could happen.
