Just a guess on my part, but it could’ve had tree/tree roots or a cattle trail there where it broke.Seems weird to me that it did it in the middle. I would have thought it would do it at the edge at the spillway.

Nearby. Fortunate I just have some road work to do. I am still able to get up and down it, but it is rough and spills your beer. The rain was insane... Is this outside your property?
I have a couple a few hours to work on the road, but not bad otherwise. I need to brush hog as well, but that is a routine thing. That makes me sick at my stomach, because I’ve been there. I bought a place in 2015 that had a brand new pond built on it, and the dam washed out in the first hard rain after I bought it. I ended fixing mine in about 4 hours with my skid steer, but that’s going to take more substantial equipment to fix.
I don't know how much was needed, but it was enough.Fess up, how much Tannerite did you buy for the 4th?
Yep, never thought about those little fart heads.Or beavers
I think that is where the level control pipe ran through the dam. Might have had a leak inside that eroded it away. You are more experienced in this kind of stuff, but not having anymore than the one photo, it would be tough to be sure.Just a guess on my part, but it could’ve had tree/tree roots or a cattle trail there where it broke.
