Yep, OLAP land is treated just like WMA'S in the regulations. You cannot bait, put up permanent blinds and so on.
Most are shotgun and archery only by landowners designation. That is by landowner choice not some BS preference thing or whatever as posted above.
It's a great asset to folks that like to hunt and need a place to do so.
Take advantage of it if you don't have private land to hunt. Some of it gets little use.

Hunted OLAP land in osage county pretty sure the signs right next to the walk through gates say follow all dept wildlife regulations!

In fact I believe elk hunting is restricted on all public lands in Oklahoma, including WMAs.

ALL Department lands are closed... written permission from private landowners must be carried if you can get that permission!

Um, no. In the regs ...

Elk hunting is prohibited on OLAP walk-in areas.

See page 30 of the hunting regs for OLAP info.
