Ok what the heck is this thing?

Picked up an AR bolt carrier back when Miami Vice was on tv. Guy who gave it to me retired from the US State Department working over seas. It is a blow back bolt assembly in 32ACP with non rotating bolt head and no markings anywhere.

There is an AR style gun in 32 acp by a company called Jager or something similar to that

There is/has been one at cabelas for a while. They originally had it priced pretty cheap. Someone must have clued them in.

The cost of the ammo is prohibitive to even shooting one.

Definitely not from a Jaeger. The bolts in those have no lugs and are flimsy junk. Had Bill Fleming tell me a story about it back when he showed up at the Wanamacher shows. Sounded fishy to me.
