I need an good AR gunsmith in the OKC/Edmond area. I need a hand guard changed and I dont want to put a lot of cash into specialized tools I will most likely use once.
You don't need a gunsmith, just a dude with a vice and an AR tool. If you were near here, I'd do it for you for free. It's not hard. Someone will probably pipe in before long. Welcome to the site.
Are you putting a hand guard on a gun with an A2 sight?

It s a Stag upper with a very heavy Hogue hand guard, its just a 12" metal tube with a rubber sleeve over it. I want to change to a Presma 18" light weight. I will also need to change to a low profile gas block.
