Anyone know why they only orientation once a year?

I think it is because they try to maintain membership levels at the current level. There are usually enough applications with one or two orientation sessions each year to maintain the current level of membership. Many members, me included, don't want the place so busy that ranges aren't available on a routine basis because of an increase in the number of members.

And because they host a number of local, state, and national shooting events each year keeping the membership at a certain level allows them to have the time required to hold these events.

Usually twice a year. Orientation December '22 - 2 classes. Another this month - Feb 11th.

Looking at the calendar, it seems that a lot of stuff is reserved pretty much every day. How does it affect just randomly wanting to go shoot one day?
