Saturday, October 1st, the OKCGC Bullseye division will be conducting the last outdoor Bullseye training day of the season. If you have ever been interested in trying Bullseye Pistol this is your opportunity. For new shooters, the day will begin with an introduction to the basics of the competition. For all shooters, the day will cover drills to improve your Bullseye scores with coaching from experienced Bullseye shooters. All you need to get started is a .22 rimfire pistol and around 300 rounds of ammo (usually less). Training begins at 0900, sign in will be at the pistol range (across from the main clubhouse), cost is $5.00. Sunday, October 2nd, the last outdoor 2700 Bullseye Club match of the season will be held. This is a club match so scores are not submitted to the NRA but otherwise it is a regular 2700 match. This is a great opportunity to try out a Bullseye match. New shooters are always welcomed. New shooters will be given an overview of how the match works and given basic coaching throughout the day from experienced shooters. All shooters are welcomed to shoot a .22 rimfire pistol for the whole match, which includes a Centerfire and .45 match. Each 900 sub-match (.22, Centerfire, and .45) takes around 2 hours to fire, so if you can't make it out all day, come out and shoot the .22 or .22 and Centerfire matches. Match begins at 0900, sign in will be at the pistol range, cost is $10.00. Just a side note, after this club match there are only three (1 @ OKCGC and 2 @ SOSC) outdooor matches left in the state for the season. Then we move to Indoor Bullseye. Brad Wells
