Welcome to OK! We just packed up and left North Carolina last year to Inola, Tulsa area and loving it so far. As a Californian born and raised, like someone said previously above, you are now free.
I lived in free states my entire adult life until CA. It was pretty funny when I discovered that CA had a law against carrying a loaded handgun in your vehicle. Luckily the Officer was cool about it and understood.
I’m most excited for the change of pace. My wife and I are ready for a bit of a slow down and enjoy our children while we still can. It seems that the Midwest and south care more about living life than working and I enjoy that. I appreciate the welcome and can’t wait to start going to competitions out here. A bit nervous about 3 gun as I’ve never competed in that but I’ll be wading into those waters shortly
